He was come now almost to his full stature, taller and swifter than any of the Easterlings; and being sent with other thralls on an errand of labour into the woods he turned suddenly on the guards and slew them with an axe, and fled into the hills. The Easterlings hunted him with dogs, but without avail; for wellnigh all the hounds of Lorgan were his friends, and if they came up with him they would fawn upon him, and then run homeward at his command.'

Beautiful pastel-ish monochromatic colours. I love works with a limited colour palette! I like the directionality of all those tree branches, too. Excellent detail and soft depths. Great job! :D

It's really hard to draw animals really good but you can do this quite right. Fantastic pastels !

Y'know, most people can't draw decent Tolkein fanart (outside of LotR) to save their life, but you manage it time and time again with no trouble at all. Hats off... and the dogs look awesome, very realistic.

in allot of your paintings you do a really great job of intertwining the figures of characters hidden in some thick forest area. and its always flawless! :) it looks awesome. I have always thought your work had that perfect ancient feel I think you can get that feeling through really well its really kool to see. I love it! definite fave ;)
