'And Gandalf said: 'This is your realm, and the heart of the greater realm that shall be. The Third Age of the world is ended, and the new age is begun; and it is your task to order its beginning and preserve what may be preserved. For though much has been saved, much must now pass away; and the power of the Three Rings also is ended. And all the lands that you see, and those that lie around about them, shall be dwellings of Men. For the time comes of the Dominion of Men, and the Elder Kindred shall fade or depart.'
'I know it well dear friend,' said Aragorn; 'but I would still have your counsel.'
'Not for long now,' said Gandalf. 'The Third Age was my age. I was the enemy of Sauron; and my work is finished. I shall go soon. The burden must lie now upon you and your kindred.''

This is fantastic. Especially the way they are positioned, Aragorn looking upwards to the sky; he is the beginning, the new hope. Gandalv's part in history is ended, and he looks tired (and a little sad?) towards the ground.
You are very good at capturing the moment and showing the story without having to embellish it.

i personally like the strong colors used for painting the sky, they make a nice contrast with the washed out colors of the two characters and the landscape.

I've already written most of what I could write on Elfwood a moment ago... and what I haven't, Bakoyma wrote here before me. Keep it up!

I am usually not very positive when it comes to pictures of Aragorn. They're never completely "right" for me, and in this one Aragorn is not exactly how I picture him, but that is just my personal taste. You're work is very good, regardless of my opinion of Aragorn, and the way you've captured the look of something ending is spectacular. Gandalf actually looks tired without looking weak. Very good. Aragorn looks worn, but strong enough to start his time as king. And the bit of text you'veused to describe the picture accentuates the point.

Very nice work. Fav :)
